Madalena Grimaldi
CRIAR is a research group dedicated to the study of visual perception and projective representation techniques. It aims to produce, compile, and disseminate scientific content related to perception, creativity, and cognition subjects. Therefore, our team investigates human visualization capability based on several aspects such as cognitive neuroscience, image theory, visual communication, and human physiology. There are two main research fields: Graphic Education and Visual Perception applied to Art and Design, both developing studies to understand and stimulate the spatial reasoning, the capacity for abstraction, and artistic and technological innovation, under an educational perspective.
