The Laboratory of Visuality and Visualization - LabVis/UFRJ - began its activities in 2010 under the direction of professor Doris Kosminsky. It proposes a theoretical-practical dialogue over visuality and the various forms of visualization, in the expanded field of art-design. LabVis gathers undergraduate and graduate students in an interdisciplinary approach. LabVis main interests lie in data visualization, information design, graphical representations, animation for information, interaction design, and data art.
